BETA RUN: The game may be active for portions or even full days leading up to March, any items, currency earned during that time will stay with the players. However any Rank points (Clover Rank, etc) earned prior to March 1st, will be reset on the 1st. This may include purrs stolen by the Leopardchaun.

From around March 1st to March 31st viewers will be able to take part in our St Patricks Day event, the St Catricks Rainbow Hunt!

Random events will trigger the appearance of the Rainbow! This will both show up as a persistent on screen graphic as well as the LED shelf lights entering a rainbow chase routine. Events that will have a chance of summoning the rainbow are: New Follows, Raids, Hosts, most GFX commands.

 

The rainbow only last for a little while, though the more people that are in the chat the longer it will potentially last.

How to play – Chase the Rainbow
!follow – when you see the rainbow cat

When the rainbow is present users can attempt to chase the rainbow by using the !follow command for 5ⓟ.

When a viewers attempts to Follow one of three results will happen:

 

  • They find Shamrock – a new currency like purrs
  • They find a mystical item (see below for more)
  • They encounter the mischievous Leopardchaun who steals purrs!  

 

Shamrock can be used to trigger limited edition graphic overlays OR change the LEDS to green or gold! (commands below)

 

Items will help future !follow events, these are automatically added to their results. They don’t need to do anything to use the items.

Shamrock, like purrs can be used to purchase commands and can be given as a gift

 

!shamrock – shows the users total

!addshamrock – Streamer can reward a single user

Leopardchaun

When the Leopardchaun appears, it’s almost always too late and it will steal Purrs from the user, Newer users will lose a smaller amount than those who have a large stockpile.

At the end of the event the top searchers, those that have found the most Shamrock, will be rewarded with an equal share of the Leopardchaun’s stolen purrs! (details on this TBD)

The Shop and Trading

The Shop

 You can buy or sell the holiday items at the shop (see items below)

 

USAGE COMMANDS: 

!shop list = Lists all the items available for buying/selling ** 

!shop <ITEM NAME> = Lists the buying/selling price for the item ** 

!shop buy <ITEM NAME> [AMOUNT] = Buys 1 or the amount specified of the item ** 

!shop sell <ITEM NAME> [AMOUNT] = Sells 1 or the amount specified of the item

 

For this Game keep in mind the Four Leaf Clover is the only item that has a stacking effect. Bagpipes and Shillelagh have the same effect whether you have 1 or 20, so maybe help your fellow adventurpurrs out with a !trade

Trading

!inventory – to see a list of all the items you have

FROM MIU:

!trade <USERNAME> <ITEM NAME> [AMOUNT] = Trades 1 or the amount specified of the item to the specified user

 

I.e. !trade samproof bagpipes 1

Items

 

Shillelagh – Will help them travel undetected to the clover patch

Four Leaf Clover –  Will help them find more Shamrock

Bagpipes – Will help defeat the Leopardchaun

Knife (150ⓟ) – Used for turning fish into bait

Fishing Rod (150ⓟ) – Used for fishing

Shovel (150ⓟ)- to dig for bait

Spear of Lir (find only) – an enchanted spear used for fishing

 

Should a user find multiple Shillelagh or bagpipes, they can trade the with other viewers or sell them back to the bank for purrs.

 

Four Leaf Clover’s affect stacks, so having multiple of those will help find more Shamrock.

The Wellspring

A mystical stream opens up and flows through the land. Visitors have found their sacrifices often payout larger bounties, but the wellspring will only give back when it’s void has become crammed with sacrifices.

 

The wellspring accepts Shamrock and pays out a random amount of Shamrock when full.

 

To Start the sacrifice:

I.e. !wellspring 10

 

The spring will fill up in 3 stages, when it is finally full it will give back the bounty (plus some?).When the Wellspring explodes use ‘!wellspring collect’ to receive the bounty!

!fish – go fishing!

!makebait – use your skill (and a knife) to chop your “Fish” into multiple pieces of bait 

Summoning the Rainbow Cat

!offer – Make an offering of fish or salmon to the Shrine

!herekitty or !summon – Being the attempt to summon the rainbowcat!

This is no small feet, it can take several dozen or more fish to make a proper offering. Remember you can fish all year round, so don’t be shy when trying to summon the Rainbow Cat!
