Fundraiser Progress

This past month you may have noticed we’re pushing a GoFundMe crowdfunding campaign to raise money. We’re in need of a Streaming PC.

So where are we at, right now as it stands we’re at $650 out of our base goal of $900.

Our bigger goal (for the best machine to do what we want) is $1850

We pushed on the Livestream itself for the month of September, using chatbot messages, a persistent overlay, and a few verbal calls. But honestly, due to work and family time, we haven’t done much more than those “passive” attempts to raise funds.

So what now?

We’re in a phase where right now we just desperately need to get this computer so our target is to push forward to the tier 1 goal of $900, which will get a computer that we can at least upgrade in the future to scale with our project.

I’ll be clearing away a lot of the promotions from our livestream; removing the overlay and chatbot messages and only leaving the interactive button which will bring the gofundme overlay up for a minute or so.

We took a major hit toward our normal donations which go toward helping the kittens, so for at least a short time we’ll have to push things back in that direction. That being said I’ll be adding some small messaging to the streamlabs donation page about the PC fundraiser as well.

We’re not giving up on the goal to get a streaming PC, and in fact, we’re closer than ever with the donations that have been raised. We’ll be reaching out to friends and family and maybe even get creative with some potential brand deals to fill in the last little bit.

In my mind we’ll have a streaming PC before Halloween, fingers and paws crossed!
