When It Rains it PAWS

Unfortunately not all days fostering can be good days. Sometimes kittens get sick. Before I get in to the said tale let’s start with some fun news.

The new Kittens have been named!

Orange is the New Kitten

Yes after a quick viewer poll we decided to name the 4 orange tabbies after one of our favorite Netflix shows. Alex, Piper, Nicky, and Lorna aka ‘Reds Crew’.

Head over to Twitch, Mixer or Youtube and use the !names command in the chat for clues on who is who until we can get pics.

Now for the sad news

For those of you who may have noticed one of the new Orange Tabbies limping, she’s been diagnosed with a Virus Feline Calicivirus or “limping calici”. We basically just need to keep an eye on her and make sure she’s eating and getting enough fluids and pray it doesn’t move on to the other fosters. We’ll be updating our wishlist with some supplements after Amanda does some research, so right now we’re just asking for donations.

But wait, thats’ not all

Deb and Lip from our previous litter have been living it up at the Cat Cafe Lounge pop up in DTLA. But unfortunately Deb has also been showing signs of illness, vomiting and diarrhea and need to be medicated. So they will both be returning to us as well. They will need to be kept in a room separate from both the new kittens and our house cats.
