A Major bomb shell dropped today as Microsoft announced they’d be closing Mixer.com in one month.

TLDR: Mixer is shutting down July 22 – Cuteavalanche’s live stream will continue to multicast to Twitch and Youtube (as well as others). Join us there!

For the past few years, our primary mission has been to save kittens from shelters and find them amazing homes and that is still our goal. Live streaming was something we did “on the side” but it became so much more and Mixer was a big part of that.

When we started streaming, we chose to multicast early on because frankly there’s no streaming platform out there specifically for 24/7 Animal cams. We basicly cast as large a net as we could to see what would happen.

What happened was Mixer, early on we saw Radiclaw growth more so then most of the other channels combined. So when we actually looked at what Mixer was and found the Mixplay interactive – it was a match made in heaven.

Our Cam switcher immediately set us apart from so many other IRL cams and the kittens became a great source of relaxation and therapy for the watchers of gamer streamers. It was a match made in heaven.

Earlier this year we hit a milestone passing 10,000 followers on Microsofts platform. We naively thought “this is Clawsome, the stream itself might now become a business”. That didn’t last long as today’s new sunk in and for the most part we were set back to ground zero.

So what happens now?!

Right now we refocus and try to land on our feet, as cats do. We’re asking everyone to show their support and follow the kitten cam on

As I said before our mission is first and foremost about helping the cats!
