Harper’s Big Week: New Digs, Wet Food Wins, and Bittersweet Goodbyes

Today was a big day for Harper. Let’s break down her latest adventures—and why we’re already feeling bittersweet about her progress.

New Enclosure, New Adventures

Harper moved into her larger enclosure this week, giving her plenty of space to explore as she starts staying awake longer. Soon, she’ll develop actual interests (beyond napping and screaming for bottles).

What’s Inside:

• Two-Level Scratcher: For climbing and sharpening those tiny claws. Get Ready for Chaos!
• Kicker Toy: Ready for when her destructive urges kick in.
• Litter Box: Full disclosure—if you see “stuff” in there for hours (or days), it’s there on purrpose. We’re not slacking—just leaving “samples” to teach her the ropes! So far she hasn’t shown much interest in the box and is only going when stimulated. Hopefully that changes soon.

Wet Food: A Love Story

The moment we’ve all waited for: Harper’s first taste of wet food. Spoiler: She’s obsessed.

Harper’s journey is why we do this—even if it means crying in our coffee when she leaves. But that’s price of progress, we’ll be saying our Farewells soon and Harper will go off to another foster who will take her through to Adoption.
