It looks like we may be taking our momma cat for an emergency exam.
She hasn’t been eating, and it’s getting to a dangerous point where she could have big problems. We’re not getting any help covering this exam’s cost. We’re really concerned she has some underlying conditions beyond stress/postpartum and Amanda wants to go ahead with this vet visit. The first vets called wouldn’t see her till early/mid-September, the only Vet willing to see her is an emergency place. So yay, that’s gonna cost extra. But they can see her today.

Mom and Kittens are back home and can be seen on the Live Stream
Mom is still closing herself off (not nursing), obviously not super happy with the experience, but otherwise seems fine. She’ll need some time to relax, hopefully she’ll start eating/drinking and her milk production will start up for nursing.
Not sure when to expect the results from the blood work and other tests. Be sure to Join us for our Chat on Thursday evening and Saturday morning - I'm sure we'll go over all of this and Amanda will be around to answer questions. I'm waiting on a copy of the official bills, but the grand total was over $900

maybe try some soil and wood paletts (the ones you can get for rabbits, hamster and guinea pigs) for her litter box. you dont know how long shes been outside. all the best for momma and her little fluffballs!
